About PlayWellMinds

PlayWellMinds is born out of a belief that we need to do better for our youth. Our vision is clear: a future of resilient, happy, mentally strong teenagers ready for all that life has in store.

We believe that the best way to achieve that vision is to equip teens early on with more knowledge, tools and training to proactively strengthen their mental abilities. We call it ‘Teen Mental Fitness’.  

Hundreds of studies have proven that mental training can improve both our performance and our overall well-being.  Just as our muscles need regular physical training to strengthen and develop, our brain needs regular training to develop the mental strength and strategies to handle life's ups and downs.  Further, like physical training or learning something new in school, it requires consistency and repetition over time to have real impact and make it stick.

PlayWellMinds encompasses a seven step program based on proven scientific methods; exercises designed to build mental strength, self-awareness and an attitude of realistic optimism; and a unique app for individual, ongoing practice in a relatable, fun and engaging way. 

The Teen Mental Fitness approach provides fundamental 'life tools' that can contribute to feeling better more often, performing better more often, and understanding that when you are not feeling well, it is normal and transient, and you will soon feel better again.

PlayWell 7 Certification

Whether you are a coach or teacher bringing PlayWellMinds into your organization, a parent of teens that wants to learn more or simply an individual that feels passionate about the subject and helping our youth, you are welcome to join a certification training program.

The training takes place on location, over two enriching days. The first day is focused on learning the fundamentals on the science, leadership and the program overview. The second day is practical application of the program - learning by doing.
